It really is something reading the replies to tweets and social media posts from news media articles about almost anything Trump-related. His supporters main defense of almost anything he does boils down "he's owning those libs, and I just love it!" And that's it. Very few of the posts actually try to defend his "big, beautiful bill", or attacks on US universities, or other actions, instead the posts nearly always boil down to "he makes the libs mad and they have TDS and it makes me so happy". Kind of sad, really.
C'mon man, you should know better...

Those well educated affluent libs who think they are better than us and keep telling us that those lib socialist communist policies will improve our working and middle class lives ? We know Trump is taking care of us.

So keep owning those libs, baby !

I can't imagine problem students account for a significant amount of the APS's budget. I agree though it is a factor.
Oh, is that so? An average school district spends 25% of its budget or more on special ed.

My son has an IEP that calls for him to be accompanied everywhere by a parapro. She probably helps with four or five children in the school. My son spends a third of his day in the special ed classroom, with two other students.

Educating special needs kids is expensive. You could have googled before making an ass of yourself.

Ok I did. The APS spends 9.2M on special needs education according to the Atlanta Civic Circle.. This is supplemented by federal IDEA grants of 11.M.

The annual budget for APS is 1.66 billion (rising to 1.84B in 2026) so it spends .5542% of its budget on special needs education - which is consistent with my statement.

I'm well aware that special education is very expensive. The Schenck School in Atlanta costs 46,200 per year for elementary students.

You dumb shit. That's 9.2M for special needs education OVER AND ABOVE the $490M in salaries and $216M in employee benefits. Since a large number of those salaries are related to special education -- well, I stand by my statement. I asked AI about it and it offered a similar number without a prompt.

Probably 15-20% of the total budget is spent on special ed. Maybe even higher because special ed doesn't scale.

It means that, if you're showing your face here, you've somehow avoided Trump cutting off your balls, but the chances that will be the case in another couple of weeks are about 0.000001%

I literally can't imagine how you could show your face here after the revelation over the last week that the guy you voted for to lead the free world is 99% likely to have fucked underage girls.
How can someone who voted for Biden, a person who has far more evidence against him suggesting he sexually assaulted Tara Reade and took inappropriate showers with his daughter, be surprised someone else voted for Trump for which there is far less evidence he slept with underage girls?

Does not voting for Trump mean it increases the chances of another 4 years of the madness we witnessed during Joe Biden's presidency?

And no, I would never vote for someone who had sex with underage girls?

Now I remember why it’s not worth engaging with you on the rare occasion you show up here. You live in an alternate universe. And you did vote for a child molester. Three times, at least. Hope you can sleep at night with that on your conscience.

Lol...I cant believe you think that's an actual expenditure for special needs. I wouldn't be shocked if they spend more than that per school on special needs. Hell, they probably have multiple children that cost a half million EACH because the needs are so great for that child.

I know of one in Edgecombe County NC right now who has THREE full time nurses and staff as well as ventilation equipment and various other medical needs...all borne by one of 4he poorest counties in the state. Think a private or charter school is taking that kid?

You and the Trumpers have successfully lowered the bar on who is qualified to be POTUS. You've normalized bad politicians because you claim all politicians are bad.

The madness is putting one of the worse presidents in the history of the US back into office just because you are unable to think for yourself.
