Customs and Border Protection Agents Expected in North Carolina​

NPR is doing a story now. Crime is down about 20% in Charlotte, not sure of the time frame. Charlotte also ranks 128th in violent crime in the US. Sounds like a job for the feds!

George Dunlap, chairn of Meck County Board of Commissioners was interviewed. He made the point that if the admin did what they originally said they were gonna do, arrest violent criminals, people probably wouldn't object. Damn good point.
 
I posted this on the ICE/Immigration Catch-all thread, but it seems appropriate to post here as well.

My wife stopped at the Midtown Target on the way to her nail appointment today. She said the Metropolitan was crawling with masked guys in bulletproof vests that said “AGENT” on them. She said the second and top levels of the Target parking deck appear to be staging areas.

But Midtown? The Metropolitan? I guess they are rounding up all the illegal bougies shopping for brie and hummus at Trader Joe’s or the day drinkers watching college football at Lost Worlds Brewery. Maybe Kristi Noem will stop by for a slice at Omaggio.

I posted earlier this week they would engage in performance art at locations with lots of spectators but few of their targets (no pun intended.) If they want to raid all the construction activity in the Pearl around the new med school, why choose a Saturday when the workers aren’t there?

Wow, what time? I parked on the 2nd floor of the Target deck at 4 and didn’t notice anything.
 
My son’s friend sent a video of a man being arrested by ICE in front of his daughter. Don’t know the location in Charlotte.
 
This is just blatant racial profiling, intimidation, harassment, and bullying, plain and simple. And it is also blatant targeting of Democratic-voting cities solely because Trumpers hate them so. And that's it. Don't give me any of this "high crime rates we have to clean up, illegals everywhere" bullshit. That's nothing more than a very thin cover for them to do what they want to do. And the message is simple: You dare to oppose us and vote against us and this is the treatment you'll be getting.
