You make it sound like it was a tv commercial, rather than a sponsored social media post. Unless you follow her on social media, you’d had never known it existed without the barrage of meltdown articles posted by right wing people.

You know how I i know this is true? Ive never seen the ad and the only way I ever knew it existed was people like ramrouser losing their mind over it.

Then you have to figure that somewhere out there was a fascist emulating the cartoon where he has to push two buttons "Alert the right wing media for their rage fix" OR "Reveal to everyone that I am attracted to trans women and am hornily following this one on social media."
 
I didn’t ’lose my mind” over the ad. It’s just I’m fascinated thinking about how stupid the ad woman was who thought it was a good idea to have a dude prancing around in a dress looking like Audrey Hepburn to promote Bud Light to the public. This will be studied at Harvard Business School for all time marketing blunders.

This new ad is the company’s attempt to reverse this.
 
I agree the Mulvaney thing was a marketing blunder by Budweiser. They severely underestimated the emotional fragility of the transphobic right wing and its ability to utilize its extraordinary propaganda network to get tens of millions of people hot and bothered by an obscure Instagram post. Lesson learned for them, apparently. Score one for America's real cancel culture.

Damn homie everyone here is quick af to jump on everything you say. You have balls of steel, bro. I see most of the posters who used to post here that the masses didn't agree with are gone, or maybe banned, but you stick it out. I could be wrong, but Ive never seen you post any personal attacks that I'm aware of even in retaliation(I don't read every thread though so maybe I'm wrong). I give you major props for that if that's true. I'm sure I will get blasted for this one or even banned lol.

I appreciate ram just as you do but for different reasons. I appreciate ram and Calla sticking around when the other fragile MAGA posters ran away when confronted with facts that debunk their Fox News talking points. It doesn't take balls of steel to post here, bro. Just be prepared to face the facts from those who live on earth 1 that contradict the non facts/misinformation from those who live on earth 2

I appreciate ram because he keeps me informed as to what is oozing in the right wing fever swamp. Although Calla has gone off the rails ( I hope that will be temporary ), he has been someone who can be engaged in a rational and somewhat informed debate on the issues.

As mentioned by lawtig02 above, we don't ban posters here . Posters are allowed to ignore other posters if they are so inclined. I have never put a poster on ignore, and I'm guessing there are other like minded posters here.

I don't do the ignore thing either. I can do that without other assistance. Besides, sometimes you need the comic relief or a butt of the joke or just someone to point to and say, "There, but for the grace of God..."
 
Just so appropriate for our times that even something like a stupid beer ad devolves into some silly political argument...

20 years ago some would say they like it, others would say they don't.

Now it is just a matter of time before this simple analysis gets linked to wokeness, Trans people or some other irrelevant tangent. Just gets so exhausting!!!
