Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial

If you can find a better shot in advertising history, feel free to link it below and we can vote.

Also, I need to amend my prior post. After I predicted Jackie and Shadow to have eaglets in March, a raven ate both the eggs. So it could be a barren year sadly.

I thought it was always the Angry Left with THP
Yes! That was it. “The angry left.” That’s what he would say as he was fuming over something. He would also completely flip out when discussing basketball. Hope that dude had good blood pressure meds.

Well, that's the thing. I'm not an advertising historian, so I don't have anywhere near an exhaustive knowledge There is of course this ad:

But an AI-suggested sleeper is this. I never saw it, but it's practically a French New Wave film unto itself.

And there's thing one, which does the cinematic "long uninterrupted shot"

I’m not contending the best commercial, but best shot. I went through your three links and couldn’t find a shot as good as Pegasus in the sun. But if you want to identify a timestamp for comparison, I’ll give it a fair evaluation.

I think the Guiness one is full of better shots. But to choose a couple, the huge wave around 30 seconds and the shot at 45 seconds.

As for Apple, the shot of the hammer being released or flying through the air is considered iconic and definitely cinematic.

The problem with Apple is that there is no one single shot that is iconic. It is about a five second clip.

The 45 second shot for the Guinness is the only one that is close and I think Pegasus is a far better shot.

The hammer in the air is a shot.

Per ChatGPT:

"A shot is a continuous run of the camera from the moment it starts recording until it stops or there is a cut. It is defined by temporal continuity. A shot can last a fraction of a second or several minutes, and it includes everything that happens in that unbroken span: movement of actors, camera motion, focus changes, lighting shifts, and sound."

Ok. Then I amend to still.
But "cinematic still" doesn't really make sense. A still isn't cinematic or not. Usually stills, when praised, are compared favorably to paintings or photos.

You can like the commercia without anything about it being the best ever, you know.
