but his college production thus far is nonexistent and whatever the hell he did to get suspended from school for a semester and off the team for a season showed a serious lack of judgement and this is UNC.....we should be a little more ambitious about our starting 5 man.

gotta see what guys are potentially gonna be available in the portal but i lean toward keeping the younger guys, brown and high.

jwash and lubin look to have pretty well defined ceilings as guys who are more suited to a backup role at UNC.

not that brown and high won't be backups too but there's more untapped potential with both, imo.

Oh, I had recruitments I followed back into early 90s, but those didn't compare to how the obsession could unfold once the internet came along and you could log in every day to get the latest "scoop" on how things were going.

I know you remember this, but back in the dark ages before the internet you had to rely on monthly newsletters/magazines or hope to run into that one friend who supposedly "knew somebody" who "knew somebody" close to the staff for updates.

Agree. With Brown at least the size and frame is there. I'm not real keen on High's skillset but I like the energy and physicality he brought his freshman year
