This isn't about trump. I haven't defended trump once in this thread because this isn't about him. Jesus are you so far gone you don't even know what defending someone means or looks like? The only deflection is your insistence to not focus blame where it lies. But I get it. Your entire political ideology is laid bare and it isn't pretty to look at. Dem gov., Dem mayor, Dem legislature and the shit show highlights just how bad it is and your response is to focus on that mean ole donald trump.

LMAO. I don't give a damn what trump is tweeting about something he is 3000 miles away from. I'm smart enough to understand what he is doing and that it means absolutely nothing in regards to what is playing out in LA right now. How someone smart enough to get into and finish law school can be so easily manipulated by trump blows my mind. I have read a lot about this fire over the last 3 days and not one time did I ever think of trump or what he has to tweet about. This is completely about infrastructure, budgets, prevention, foresight, local and state management, and learning from past mistakes. Do you disagree? Please give me a logical reason this is about trump? TDS isn't a logical reason.

Gravity and timeouts, among the many things this poster does not understand. Also, that municipal water systems are not designed to fight wildfires. It would be damn near impossible for Los Angeles to have more water stored than it did. The problem is not LA governance. The problem is that a) people live where fires rage and b) climate change.

Oh, one more thing that maybe you understand, maybe you don't. How do plants respond to water, and how do they respond to the lack of water. If you know the answer, consider what might have happened after heavy rains last year and much less rain this year.

Blame? you damn right I'm blaming those who deserve the blame. I have a lot of locals in LA who apparently agree with me as well. Its a shame you can't be objective enough to discuss the real issues contributing to this. I haven't read once, in dozens of articles about it, anyone living in LA blaming trump. Or even mentioning trump. But this board can't do anything but talk about trump. Some sick puppies

Nobody is blaming Trump for the wildfires you illiterate dumb fuck. People are pointing out that he shouldn't lie about natural disasters for political gain, just like he did during Hurricane Helene.
