Yeah, pushing that button is such a chore. Get a different car. My car (and my wife’s) stay in the position you left in in the last time you were in the car. No need to change the setting (again, by pushing a button) every time you start the car.I don't have a problem with the system itself if people want to use it. I just think you should be able to disable it without having to turn it off every time you start the car.
It just doesn't make sense how you can't disable it permanently if you want to but you can disable safety features and not have to turn them off every time you start the car.Yeah, pushing that button is such a chore.
I just recalled that you had started a thread about this, so when I read the article I thought I would share.I don't have a problem with the system itself if people want to use it. I just think you should be able to disable it without having to turn it off every time you start the car.
I'm surprised he hasn't disbanded the EPA completely.Just another anti-anything that helps the planet move by the trump admin (trump’s EPA).
They will likely start pushing Drill Baby DrillI'm surprised he hasn't disbanded the EPA completely.
Another statement that so fully demonstrates their lack of understanding of the big picture. They will likely start pushing Drill Baby Drill
That really sucks I have a cheap model Rav IV and it does that crap . I hate it . I like to control my engineI don’t want the car shutting off in stop and go or at stop signs. Or when trying to merge from a stop
I have a Pilot and it is the same.Rav 4 is one the cars I’ve driven with start/stop and yeah it was bad..
I would’ve thought if anyone would get it right it would be Toyota
How are Hondas with it?
I really wish I had looked at those when the lease for my Pilot was up instead of buying the Pilot. Honda has really jacked up their prices since I leased it in 2022.I drive a ton of rental cars when I travel for work and that feature is the bane of my existence. We just bought a new Hyundai Palisade that allows you to permanently disable it, thankfully.
I drive a hybrid and if my car didn't do what is described, then it really wouldn't be a hybrid. I have had absolutely ZERO problems with my car switching from gas to electric as conditions, speed, and slope of the road warrants.
