Panthers announcer Anish Shah just said, “some excited Panthers fans hanging around after the game and some very disappointed Cowboy, Lakers, Yankees fans were leaving the stadium.”

While it’s still early, this might be a season where we see teams in the playoffs who are not standard playoff teams and others who usually make the playoffs don’t. The Panthers are certainly in contention; but the Jags and Colts are 2 others. At the same time, regular playoff teams like the Chiefs and Ravens are struggling.Great to see them looking competent
I’d need to see a little bit more in the next month before getting my hopes up about a potential playoff push, but for now I’m just happy to see a team that looks like they are well coached and gelling despite some obvious personnel limitations. While it’s still early, this might be a season where we see teams in the playoffs who are not standard playoff teams and others who usually make the playoffs don’t. It’s certainly too early to get hopes up too much for teams like the Panthers, but it would be nice to see the playoffs feature other teams than the usual suspects.I’d need to see a little bit more in the next month before getting my hopes up about a potential playoff push, but for now I’m just happy to see a team that looks like they are well coached and gelling despite some obvious personnel limitations.
I wonder what impact Canales almost never playing Bryce Young in the preseason had on those first couple games of the regular season. It’s very likely that his lack of reps the preseason contributed to his poor start in the regular season.I'm just glad they've been competitive, outside of NE. Quite honestly, they gave the game to the Cardinals with those 2 turnovers, and the past couple of weeks, they've just battled and battled until the end. Good stuff that I've not seen for a while.
I think some for sure simply because he's been so terrible the first 2-3 weeks of the last couple of years. Thinking back to the way it was done several years ago, the starters got the first 1-2 series in the first couple of games, then the first quarter in the 3rd game, then roughly the first half and maybe even into the 3rd quarter in the last preseason game. I think they need to see live fire in a game situation. Yeah, you take risks, but you can also play your way out of the playoffs in the first couple of games with players not up to the speed of the game. I realize it's a balancing act with injuries, and I'm glad that I don't have to make those decisions.I wonder what impact Canales almost never playing Bryce Young in the preseason had on those first couple games of the regular season.
