Its always sad when someone dies…especially for speech, no matter what they say, but he should absolutely be remembered for what he amplified(he seemed like a decent human day to day).

He played a dishonest racist and troll.

Agree.

I was responding to CFord who had posted a tweet about seemingly opposing factions of right wingers, half who are saying the left is acting violent, while the other half is acting violent. I just think its all the same and they don't care that its hypocritical.

Oh yeah, I’ve definitely agreed with you. I knew it wasn’t like you were saying that you were glad he was dead or anything like that. You were saying that he quite literally fucked around and found out the hard way. It sucks that he had to find out by quite literally losing his life. I wish it had been different. But I agreed with your premise that it’s understandable for someone to feel no empathy for what happened to him.

this. We see it here. Ram and his buddies are saying this is because we call them fascists, authoritarians, etc. and for some of them in the same damn post call us communists, pedos, groomers, etc. (POTUS himself called Harris Comrade Kamala and posted AI memes of her as Stalin).

I truly believe that Kirk would have been the running mate for JD Vance as his VP in 2028…He was very popular with the Gen Z crowd…
 
to be an effective martyr, they're going to have to get comfortable with showing clips of him speaking, which basically anybody is yet to do because it would immediately melt away any sympathy they'd have tried to garner.
