Did they also recognize the Colorado victims? I can maybe get ok with this, then.

Perhaps I just don't appreciate how famous/beloved Kirk was. I barely know who he was and get him confused with that other punchable nazi. I don't watch TV so I don't have my finger on the pulse of the country.
It likely says more about the Steinbrenners’ politics than about the popularity of a right wing influencer.

So you rebut my comment completely ignoring 13 other arrests, including a felony. LOL. The judge made him write a letter of promise for fuck's sake. And you likely think everything was handled appropriately I bet. Soft on crime is the badge the left wears proudly. How about a little more accountability than writing a letter promising something for 14 arrests and a diagnosed schizophrenic? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see how that could go horrible wrong. You can also follow the DEI trail of those involved to see that it was predictable.

Sure would be nice if liberal judges and DAs weren't trying to play social justice warriors by turning criminals out on the street to kill people after 14 arrests. Of course I never see you guys criticize those dim leaders.
You're not going to believe this. I know of a case where those libdems allowed a man with 34 felony convictions to roam around freely. Didn't lock the fucker up. Never saw a day in jail. YET!

An arrest is not a conviction, and he served the maximum for the felony. Disregarding and misrepresenting facts is a badge the right wears proudly

40% of the country supports a murderous rapist president. So what? I'm not saying it's not newsworthy. I'm not celebrating his death. I found the video shocking. Is that not enough? Am I supposed to be bummed that a bunch of awful people lost an awful icon of awfulness?
I agree with you.

You mean the previous arrests that occurred under Republican District Attorney Andrew Murray who was the top prosecuter in Charlotte? Those arrests?

Yes, we should imprison people indefinitely for misuse of 911. OR we could have a healthcare system that treats mental illness...you choose!

You really are a POS.

I got this news only about an hour ago because I just got home from work. I'll say this in the nicest possible terms I can:

I don't condone political violence. I don't condone taking someone's life no matter how hateful, reprehensible, and morally bankrupt that person is. The reason I don't condone it is two-fold:

1. Murder is wrong.

2. And taking the life of a public figure like Charlie Kirk makes a martyr out of him. It washes away all of the awful things he has said and done and rallies the small-minded people who followed him to his cause, and removes the possibility forever that those people might some day come to their senses and see through Charlie Kirk's lies and bullshit. And there are very few people on this earth less-deserving of martyrdom than Charlie Fucking Kirk.

Condolences to his family, and I hope the killer is brought to justice. As for Charlie, I'll say this: When you preach the ideology of hate, sometimes that hate comes back to you.
