Yeah. Probably. Got to wonder which of his particular views got him shot or if it was just his overall place on the political spectrum.

He's a conspiracy nut and he hits all the biggies like covid-19 vaccine and the 2020 election stolen. He also hit some off the wall ones. He pushes hard against things like dei initiatives and critical race theory and I think he creates lists of professors and school board members that push it. Overall a MAGA guy but I'm surprised he was targeted over some more high profile folks like senators or house members but who knows what goes through these people's heads.

I do hope he survives. Don't agree with most of his platform but he is a father of two and shouldn't be murdered for his opinions. Awful that these assassinations and assassination attempts are occurring. And another reason for gun control please.
 
I get the motivation behind something like this, Kirk spews nothing but hate and racism. It's pointless though, some other hateful character will step into his place because there is a market for it in Trump's America. The neo-Nazis will only be emboldened by the shooting, it will have an overall negative impact.
 
Recently read that racism saves lives. If that’s true Charlie will be fine.

This is a guy that exploits and lies about every tragedy he can. He’d be the first to crack jokes and or lie about anyone on the left being harmed by violence. His entire adult life has been right-wing troll with an insatiable drive to hurt certain people for his own gain. You know how after every mass shooting it’s immediately on social media the shooter was trans? Yeah, this guy and people that want to be this guy.

Point of fact, you were definitively debunked on almost every trans shooter you posted about.

Democracy, by its nature, curbs political violence.

Kirk made his bones punching down in people who are already politically unrepresented, but he was protected from violence because those people could still "survive and thrive" and feel protected by the established political status quo.

That is no longer the case. The guardrails that protected people both ways are coming down - to put a fine point on it, they are being taken down by people like your law partner who do not wish to see democracy if it contradicts what they want.

Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable. If you had a shred of morality left in your wrinkled old soul you might think on this and learn something.

Charlie Kirk is a mouthpiece for fascist propaganda. He gets neither my thoughts nor my prayers. He gets what he put out into the world.
