You may be right. It will take a while to get all the Ring cameras and security camera videos to the FBI and do the AI analysis. The Netflix documentary on the Boston Bombers did a good job showing how the FBI processes all the video data. That said, it is possible that Orem has some camera deserts that would allow the suspect to slip away undetected.
 
I am sure that there are still plenty of highly competent FBI agents out in the field. But at the top, this FBI is staggeringly incompetent. I’m not sure how much that trickles down.

Agreed. Cameras, facial recognition, DNA, phone tracking, it has to be close to impossible.

Luigi was on the run for 5-6 days and despite all the technology, he was ultimately caught by a McDonald’s employee. Now that the photo and video have been released, perhaps our essential workers have enough to work with to catch the current killer on the run.

The best approach would be to dress up in an ICE "uniform". No one would ever catch or even suspect you.

Yeah, we are pretty loose with how we “moderate“ but if there’s one issue that doesn’t need to derail another thread, it’s arguing about Covid/vaccines.
