he was fired because it was too soon and the woke right is sensitive…judgement.
I don’t disagree with what he said, but would’ve fired him too just because if I’m gonna pay you to talk on TV, you gotta know that that’s not the right thing to say right there…even if “keeping it real”.
Weill, the right says stuff like that all the time and that’s actually how Kirk got his job… he’s gotta know the difference and that the right is heavy on canceling, sensitive, and empowered right now.
Like the Panthers PR person… they put their ego in front of their employer.

I browsed through his mom's facebook page. Looks like he grew up with guns. Wore US military hats. Was maybe in Boy Scouts at one point. Wore Trump costume for Halloween one year. Nothing obvious, but has the appearance that he grew up Republican. . . That would ease a lot of bipartisan tension at least

Maybe so. I guess he did it because he felt compelled to stop a guy who had a national platform for spreading racism, bigotry and hate. Not saying it was the right thing to do, but that's why he did it.

Nah, if he is guilty, no maybe about it. He will spend rest of his life in prison, although I suppose he could do some good inside there. But this will do nothing to end those things you highlighted and, as we have already seen, just foster more.
