Charlie Kirk shot and killed at Utah rally.

So you want to argue that a state senator has the reach, following, and support from the DNC that the President of the United States has from the GOP? Link?

Just admit you lost this one and move on, my friend.
I'm not arguing anything except that it's not just Republicans using violent rhetoric.

Ive already proven that.

I don’t speak video game past PS2 (and Wii). What the heck is Helldivers?
It is a game that as largely modeled on Starship Troopers. You are fighting alien bugs in the name of "Managed Democracy," which of course is window dressing for tyranny. The problem is nuance and parody might not land on the target audience.

So Kirk”s own rhetoric got him killed. It’s a shame but when you spread hate and division things like this happen and will continue to happen.
We are in a bad place.
Kirk's opinion got him killed because some people are lunatics, not because having "mean" opinions actually justifies violence... despite what I continue to see here and on cable news...

God almighty reading anything from that zen poster is like watching adults talking to a 3 year old. If there wasn't a super ignore available I'd leave this place for good because of them. How do y'all engage with that garbage.
he occasionally says something sensible and seems like a decent person with regard to some things, unlike many/most of the other right-leaning folk here who are batshit insane and for the most part too far gone to engage with at all.

that's where i'm at with him, at least.
On February 4, 2025, U.S. Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) stated "we are at war!" at a protest outside the Treasury Department. This was in response to President Trump's second administration granting one of his donors access to the department's payment system. McIver's remarks drew condemnation from conservative groups and the White House, who described it as an "incendiary call to violence".

The former Attorney General stated, "What's driving Democrats is, I think, a legitimate response. I mean, it's like the Germans have invaded France... we have to take up arms" against anti-democratic efforts.

You can also add on the constant rhetoric from Democrats, including Kamala Harris (Trump is a threat to our democracy and fundamental freedoms.') that resulted in multiple assassination attempts.

Biden saying 'It's time to put Trump in a bullseye.'

Democratic lawmaker Stacey Plaskett accidentally says Trump ‘needs to be shot’ in slip-up on live TV

I could spend more of my time finding many more, but I don't think that is necessary.
you posted that months old lamonica mciver thing already, within the last 24 hours or so. meanwhile, we've got 589396 new examples from right wing politicians and influencers just in the last 12 hours.

and claiming that dem rhetoric resulted in multiple trump assassination attempts by right wingers is fucking insane, lmao.

dem divisive rhetoric = drip. republican divisive rhetoric = firehose

Biden speaks like a traditional politician so he's not going to use overt violent language. I would argue, however, that Biden, as President of the US, has used divisive language.

During his speech delivered in Philadelphia on 9/1/22 (the dark red speech) titled "The Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation." the President strongly condemned "MAGA Republicans" stating "they represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic." He also said that "MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards." "The Republican Party is currently dominated, driven, intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans," calling this a "threat to this country."

The backdrop of the speech at Independence Hall was illuminated in red with the presence of the Marines. This gave it a authoritarian impression. Keep in mind this was an official speech by the President NOT a campaign rally.

So you have the President of the US openly calling out 40%+ of the country as a threat to the Republic. That can certainly inspire Antifa killers like Robinson to take action they deem appropriate to save the Republic.

Which is why I think Pubs and MAGA saying we need to tone down the rhetoric is so hypocritical. There's only one side that has been spreading racism, bigotry, Christian nationalism and fascism. It's like they are saying everyone else should just be okay with it and not get to a point where they want to fight back. Not saying murder is the answer, but it gets to a point where people feel like reasoning with racists and bigots is pointless and unachievable.
