Charlie Kirk shot and killed at Utah rally.

He appears to be from a good family - but became self radicalized as an online leftist/ anti fascist. The bullet casings have numerous antifa slogans and song names. One of the casings had inscribed on it "Hey, fascist! Catch!" Well, mission accomplished. Charlie (whom Robinson believed to be a fascist and a "spreader of hate") caught the bullet. The online left (not here) now rejoices.

The issue is that the online left believe that "words are violence" and he expressed to a relative that Kirk was a spreader of hate. Thus, he (in his twisted mind) felt it reasonable to respond to Kirk's violence with violence of his own. Where did he get the idea that Kirk was a fascist? From virtually every Dem politician, media person, online writer and podcaster and strongly implied by the last President. Disagree with us all you want. Fight back against Trump's overuse of the Executive Orders, but quit constantly labeling MAGA fascists and Nazis or YOU are going to inspire future Robinsons to kill other conservative public figures. I mean if your democracy is a stake, isn't murder of MAGA justified?

Yeah. The line that destroyed me was the one about their three year old asking where daddy is. I’ve got a 3 year old and that one just crushed me.
I didn't get more than a few minutes into it, so I didn't even hear that part. The (what seemed to be artificial) whispering was too much for me.

The Utah Governor clearly is in the same place as ramrouser, he didn't want it to be one of their own, wonder why?
Of course he had to get in the During bad times we pray, they riot.

I tried to watch Erika Kirk's statement. It was just too uncomfortable to watch. The way that she was talking seemed completely unnatural and forced.
Yeah, I agree. Perhaps as simple as grief and rage commingled in someone who isn't a skilled public speaker barely keeping her shit together. But it also could be read as a hostage video vibe — whether more restrained than she wanted or more divisive, who knows.

The Donald and Junior are both pieces of shit. That fact aside, I find it incredibly amusing how both sides are absolutely convinced that the issue of violence and dangerous rhetoric is only from the other side.... When it is so obviously not the case.

This is the problem with monetized social media and all of the legacy news sources that are now competing with monetized social media. You have to pander to one side or the other, to some degree, to stay afloat. CNN probably does the best job of trying to be balanced and, not coincidentally, they are struggling the most of the three cable news stations.

For the most part, people just don't want to hear balanced. They want confirmation bias. They want to be told that their anger is well placed and justified.

I find it incredibly amusing that you make these grand sweeping statements that are nearly always wrong. It is untrue that everyone on one "side" or another fails to acknowledge the wider problem. You would think your nearly day long quest to associate the killer with Antifa based on your misinterpretation of arrows would have you sitting this one out.

its just a camouflaged Bo Sides from a troll.

I will admit. I have never wanted a suspect to be on the right more than this time.

It isn’t because of some us vs them thing. I am not about to gloat over it like it’s football game.

It is because so many people on the right are ready to oppress and even kill people over this. The rhetoric from the right over the last few days has been nothing short of terrifying.

We don’t know all about the mindset of the guy but it is pretty clear he wasn’t what the right assumed immediately after the shooting. That may have given us a little reprieve.
MAGA gave away the game 2 days ago. They are champing at the bit for a “war” with the enemy left. I don’t know how it’s going to to play out, but they want violence.

How do we move forward knowing this? I don’t think, “I’m just going to go to work, take care of my family, and hope this works out” is realistic anymore.

Are you asserting that The Left, A Left, Any Left, is monetized?

No opinion will ever be "everyone".

Really? Why? Being wrong about the alignment of Kirk's killer means I shouldn't comment on the rhetoric issues of today's primary political parties?

No, it means you should have some level of self awareness at some point that your grand pronouncements are often piles of horseshit stacked higher than you likely stand.
