During the game, it's not going to be about what's best for the player. It's going to be what's best for the team. If that means he can only afford to rest the player you replaced for a minute and a half, that's what you're getting. The way to change that is practice hard enough that you're ready so that the coach can rest him longer.

I do get your point but it seems you're looking player first and not team first.

fair enough

I'm not suggesting he should have averaged 10 minutes/game like Trimble did as a Frosh. I'm just saying folks shouldn't say he "sucked" as a Frosh when he only played three 1-2 minute stretches/game.

And to your point Coach Davis played Trimble 10 minutes a game in his freshman year and his stats were not as good as Nickel...but I hope you are happy like me to have Trimble here in his senior year.

Now let's get our senior leader back on the court !!
 
Just realized or forgot that UVA has Ugonna Onyenso this season

Sneaky good roster. Seems like a clear cut above the non-UNC,Duke,Louisville ACC
 
Maybe recruit tougher players then?

There's not a better coaching/school fit in all of college bball than wade/lol

Never seen a coach puff their chest out so much over a sweet 16 run. While he was cheating

This UK/SJU game has turned into a danged rugby match.

I think the refs are only there so that they can bail UK out when things go wrong for them.
 
Randomly, the Colorado School of Mines women’s basketball team is staying at our hotel (they had a holiday tournament here). One of their players had on a throw-back sweatshirt with their old logo which was identical to the old UNC ram in a sailor hat logo. Colors are different (green and mustard gold).

Also, I am not a short person but I’m not crazy tall and I was startled to be taller than most of their team. Maybe only their guards came to breakfast.
 
With the college football blowout and a lackluster NFL game, there’s just nothing worth watching tonight
