I would guess that when Hubert shared his vision was for changes going forward, they didn't include any staff changes. Would it really surprise anyone if Hubert was radically loyal to his staff?

Agreed. He is decent enough but was never going to do anything special at State. Was hoping he’d stay there for a few more years of mediocrity before jumping to a better program or getting fired.

While I'm not all that impressed with Wade, I think state is much better off if they can somehow manage to hold on to him. It could be that he's just leveraging LSU to upgrade his contract at state. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
