This is quite the list. Sad commentary on college basketball.

You could field a good team comprised solely of the outbound transfers from these schools

Virginia Tech didn't make the list and also has 4 of their top 5 from last year at other schools, Sean Pedulla starting for ole miss, Lynn Kidd at Miami, and Nickel and MJ Collins at Vandy. ETA: Rodney Rice at Maryland.

Auburn is 11-1 in Q1 games losing the toughest Q1 game possible @ Duke. Just incredible

No fan of Pearl or that program whatsoever but will be pulling hard for them in March as long as Duke's alive

They've won some tough, one possession games. Home and away. They did stump their toe in derm, yes.

Carolina OTOH, has lost 4 one possession games. Just can't get over the hump. Some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you.

My best gues-stimation is Aubie beats dookies (instead of UNC) in Maui - had they played that game there and then.

My other gues-stimation is if (big IF) Aubie plays d000kie in NCAAT, Tigers win. Probably a FF match. And Charles and Kenny are finally on the same page... both dancing in the aisle of the studio. Mark it. You heard it here first.
 
I'd give a slight edge to Auburn. Like Pettiford a lot and Baker-Mazara scores so easy

Duke has best player but you can say Auburn has the next 3

No offence as I've grown to like the Duke (See I even spelled it as you would) fans on this board. I didn't notice who I was responding to until I was typing.

I understand why you would want them eliminated. My personal preference is that until dook looses I want all the top teams to advance. Once dook is out, I pull for KY to be out, then watch for fun. Especially this season considering I'm not sure where UNC will be.

Anyway, here's to a great tournament, that includes an unexpected great UNC run to the final 4 and a surprise first round loss by Duke to a 16 seed. 😁 :cool:

That was disgusting.. Seemed like several of the players were out of it and then that happened?

So we're ranked 3 by the article in losing so called quality players but at the same time we haven't lost anyone other than Walker Kessler that anyone really cared about (at least in recent history). Transfer portial has been a net positive for us. Portal also has the benefit of getting rid of dead roster spots on guys we basically missed on. Does anyone want Kerwin Walton taking up a roster spot right now? Yes it's a different landscape and kind of the wild wild west right now but the changes SHOULD benefit us as long as we're not too stubborn to play by the new rules.

I don't know if anyone else is still up watching CBB, but this Arizona & Iowa State game has been the full Caleb Love Experience...

- For the first 39:59 of the game: 11 points on 18 shots, including 1 of 11 from 3.
- Hit a 55' 3 at the buzzer to tie the game and send it to overtime.
- Hit back-to-back 3s in OT to take a tie game to a 6-point AZ lead.
- Hit 2 FTs with 31 seconds left to ice the game.

If you didn't see it, you should find some highlights because it's a wonderful Caleb Love game.

So you rooted for Duke to beat State in the Elite 8 last year? If so, you are probably in a select group of 5% or less of UNC fans.

I am pretty sure 99.9% of Duke fans root for State against UNC.

Absolutely I did. I cheered very hard for Duke to beat NC State in the ACC Tournament and end their season. When that didn't happen, I cheered even harder for Duke to beat NC State in the NCAA Elite 8. The last time I think I cheered for NC State to beat Duke would have been when I was in high school, so late 2000's. Haven't pulled for State under any circumstance since then.
 
Can someone please help me find the Take Em Trajan play from the doomed final possession of Duke's loss in the 1999 championship game?

It was like a diagram of Duke's future lottery picks standing around doing nothing while Trajan Langdon dribbles into a double team and throws up some junk.

I've googled it every way I can think of and canot find it.
