We have a horrifically bad defense. And our QB was ass today. We also lost to Tulane. We are not good. But only have 1 ACC loss. That's how awful this conference is
I was listening to a CFB podcast this week and they were pointing that out too haha. Duke still has a decent shot at making the ACCCG and thus a potential playoff spot if they were to win that, so this game was actually pretty meaningless.

Vandy had a 4th&1 at Auburn’s 25 in a tied game with like a minute left. Tried to go for it instead of kicking the FG and Pavia tripped so they turned it over on downs. Just brutal.

I really hope something like this happens with college football. Then all the other sports can go back to smaller regional conferences. There really is no reason why you can't treat football differently from the others.

Thanks for this C-money
Its cool Carolinas wil be one division

Love seeing Virginia finally lose. They’ve been so lucky all season.
They have, but i'd say it was luck that gave Wake the win. Wake scored ZERO offensive TDs. They ran a punt back for a TD. Chandler Morris got knocked out early in the second quarter, and his backup fumbled the ball into Wake's hands with great field position.
His first fumble was on the 38. Wake gained 9 yards which was enough for a 39 yard FG.
His second fumble was on the Wake 46... credit to Wake for picking up a 1st down, yielding a FIFTY yard FG.

I don’t see the P2 schools that matter and the handful of P4 schools that matter sharing football revenue with UCONN, Wake, BC, Syracuse, Cal, Stanford, d00k, ncsulol, SMU, UCF, South Florida, Temple, ECU, Charlotte, etc.

It’s true that the winners, particularly in the SEC, exhibit a deficiency of communitarian or academic imperatives, but I still think this idea has legs.

My estimate is that the SEC and the Big 10 are quietly positioning for advantage in an evolving environment that amounts to a sort of turf war. The Big lusts for the fertile and growing market for football in the South and imagines itself as a coast-to-coast brand as opposed to a regional one.

At 18 teams and only Maryland in the South, adding the newly ambitious UNC and UVa rounds to 20 and a Southern/Eastern division of 4 including PSU or add FSU and/or GaTech/UM to hit a higher load.

In other words, the chance to avoid a dicey, divisive and costly turf war between the P2 could provide the impetus for cooperation.

Nicely put
I do however agree with Zoo that the big boys won't share with UCONN, Wake, BC, Syracuse, Cal, Stanford, d00k, ncsulol, SMU, UCF, South Florida, Temple, ECU, Charlotte, etc.(Although Stanford is a big Boy in my mind)

It's football-only. Stanford is not a big boy in football. Though I think if this ever came to be, then Northwestern and Vandy are in trouble. Probably Rutgers too.

But there's no sense at all to have nation-wide conferences for tennis, baseball, softball, soccer, etc.

Yeah but you can say just last year Duke was in the Gator bowl.
Long story short football needs to be separate from other conference affiliations

This LSU Brian Kelly divorce keeps getting weirder. Kelly is now suing LSU because LSU now claims they didn't actually fire him but now want to fire him for cause. Looney tunes because maga morons have taken control of the athletic department.
