The 2025 ACC might be the weakest “power” conference I have ever seen. It makes the dark days of the PAC look inspiring. Maybe only the 1980s/90s SWC was worse.

That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. The ACC has never really cared for the fans so I can say the feeling is mutual.

Agreed. They don't deserve a bid this year, and the league has no one but itself to blame.

Gio did not throw an int in last 5 games. I think he had 6 TDs in that stretch. Threw for over 200 yards in all but tonight when he got hurt. Completed about 63 percent I think. Did that with basically no running game. He is not the problem..

Not saying he's the only problem. Our OL is weak. Our RBs have zero speed and can't make people miss. We have zero WRs who can separate. We have one decent WR who can get open if the line allows time. Our Offensive scheme is unimaginative and offensive. AND, Gio is not very good. He's not a dual threat. Very slow feet and not shifty. We are just really, really bad.

I mean even UVA, with their weak-ass schedule, getting in the playoffs would be a joke. They got smacked by NC State and Wake Forest. The conference SUCKS.

And I know Duke may very well be left out when it breaks up, but at this point, it's been so horribly run as a league, I won't even be sad.

(oh and football conferences should be 100% different than other sports....which should be regional and smaller)
