Too many people had started finding him likeableKiffin had the opportunity to fully rehabilitate his image and cement his legacy as a legend at Ole Miss, but that just isn't who he is.

I think that depends on where UNC goes and how large the P2 want to expand when they divvy up the ACC.Well in our State surely only UNC will maybe make a "power 2" conference ?
I remember there was talk last year about the absurdity of his buyout. IIRC it’s due to be paid via a lump sum within 60 days.Kentucky is firing Mike Stoops.
One less job to compete with us when we are in the market next year. Last year was a great year to go coach shopping and we screwed it up. That said, next year is looking like it will be a pretty good year, too.Kentucky is firing Mike Stoops.
I do think there should be a separate deal for all the other sports but I like having all or most of the division 1 teams play each other.Just take 32 to 48 schools and have a separate league for football for the big programs. Have divisions like the NFL based on geography. Run the playoffs like the NFL playoffs. The rest of the schools can play with the group of 5 and they can set up the same deal for a lower division. Then you can have smaller conferences for all the other sports with 12 teams max.
So they could have gotten Sumrall but waited and now missed outKentucky is firing Mike Stoops.

We need a tiered system with relegation.I do think there should be a separate deal for all the other sports but I like having all or most of the division 1 teams play each other.
I don't think 32 to 48 teams is nearly enough. Indiana would not be in that top 48 teams. I don't think BYU would be or Texas Tech.
Boise state, indiana, Arizona State and SMU all made the playoffs last year. I don't think any of those teams would be a shoo-in for the top 48. I could see any of those teams being in the top 48 in any given year but I could also see 40 or 50 other teams that are about that same level that might make the top 48 in a given year on top of the 20 or so teams that would be considered real powerhouses.
Football is perfect for it. It would be so damn awesome. And then it wouldnt impact other sports' conferences etc...but it would be so compelling every seasonWe need a tiered system with relegation.
One more year. He has to win at least 8 next year to justify year 3, IMO.How many more seasons must UNC endure the Bellycheck error - I mean era?
The youngest heir is 37 (or 24 if you're one of those people). So it could be awhileHow many more seasons must UNC endure the Bellycheck error - I mean era?
Sort of like Trump... we still have to go through Eric, Don Jr. and perhaps Ivanka, then Barron - and then any number of their off-spring before the USofA is finally rid of the Trump regime. The Bellycheck regime is similar I guess...The youngest heir is 37 (or 24 if you're one of those people). So it could be awhile![]()
Gun to my head, I think he gets year 3 as long as he avoids an egregious scandal and wins at least 3 games. I hope you're right though. No way we're winning 8 games next year. One more year. He has to win at least 8 next year to justify year 3, IMO.
Yeah, I’m with you, that’s my fear as well. I absolutely do not trust the people calling the shots UNC to not double down and then triple down on this disaster to soothe their egos.Gun to my head, I think he gets year 3 as long as he avoids an egregious scandal and wins at least 3 games.
