To me, we have learned that this format is badly broken. Currently teams with the bye and the long layoff are 0-5. Does that get to 0-8? I dont think so but I also dont think it will be 3-5. I think 0-8 is more likely than 3-5. Im guessing it ends up at 2-6 or 1-7.

I think they have to address that. Putting the 4 best teams (or at least the publicly judged 4 best teams) out to pasture for a month while everyone else is prepping and playing doesnt work.
Given that the TT/Oregon game is a 4/5 game, I don't think you can take much from that game unless it's a blowout (in either direction), which it's currently not.

I do think that if Indiana and/or Georgia struggle tonight, then we really do have something that needs to be addressed. If not, then there's probably enough ambiguity to let another season with results play out before taking any action.

If I were Capital One sponsoring the Orange Bowl halftime show and the performer is Third Eye Blind, I'd do a chargeback of my sponsorship payment.

Was that ruled a pass interception? His arm was going forward so it shouldn't be a fumble. If so, it was the closest interception I've ever seen.

Stellar performance by Oregon's defense.
Yeah.

And given that Oregon's offense left points on the field due to decision-making and still blew TT out, it lends some credence to the "long layoff makes for rusty performance" argument.
