I mean, you could inject this directly into my veins and I'd be happy to OD.

However, I don't think that Mike Johnson has allowed this to happen because he wanted it to happen. Mike Johnson has allowed it to happen because he's a spineless little bitch who doesn't have the balls to stand up to anyone or anything unless he knows he's guaranteed to win.

And the House Republicans are directly responsible for spineless bitch Mike Johnson being Speaker of the House because they refused to nominate and elect anyone who would dare challenge them. They wanted a spineless bitch for a Speaker and now they're complaining that they chose one.

They got what they deserved and fuck 'em all for it.

‘In Triage Every Day’: A Beleaguered Speaker Says He’s Overwhelmed

In a podcast interview, Speaker Mike Johnson opened up about the crushing demands of a job that he joked was his in name only.

“… What emerged from the interview instead was a portrait of a Republican leader barely keeping his head above water in a job to which he does not appear particularly well suited, a conversation full of tragically revealing details packaged as rueful humor but with the biting sting of truth.

“We have this joke that I’m not really a speaker of the House,” Mr. Johnson, who represents Louisiana, said in the latest episode of “The Katie Miller Podcast.”

It came across as less of a joke and more of an assessment of how he has chosen to wield his power.…”

I think I’m on record saying the gop would drop trump when he became a lame duck. I don’t think he is liked at all by the rank and file because they know he will turn on them on a dime. He has 1 year and then he loses 50% of his influence in congress among the gop.

She sounds like yet another embittered Trumper who has fallen out of favor with Dear Leader and the GOP Leadership and is taking the verbal "burn it all down" MTG route on her way out. I don't think she has a chance of getting elected governor of New York, especially next year in the current political climate, and so her political career will be over after next year. And she likely knows it. Just a few years ago she was seen by many as a bright, articulate, rising star in the NY and National GOP, and now like so many others (including lots of GOP women in politics, which isn't accidental) she's now been pushed to the fringes of power in Congress by her own peers. Oh well, FAFO.

I believe she can be put in the fake it till you make it category. She went so deep undercover as a right wing loon, that she became one.

“He certainly wouldn’t have the votes to be speaker if there was a roll-call vote tomorrow,” the New York lawmaker, who is running for governor, said in an interview with me. “I believe that the majority of Republicans would vote for new leadership. It’s that widespread.”
