In any event, I’m not sure how much we can rely on the Thai PM since he dissolved parliament yesterday (this happens sort of regularly there) and called for snap elections b/c his minority coalition had become dysfunctional. And it doesn’t seem like Cambodia has much control over some of the militias along its border.
The Thai economy is in shambles (US tariffs have been rough there) so it is not clear if things will swing wildly in the Spring elections.
But hopefully things quiet down again on the border.
