My first somewhat facetious thought was that she was thinking "Am I going to be able to run this company by myself?" Then I saw the tweet and yep, that is what she was thinking and evidently the answer was yes...
It had been my understanding that she was pretty much the brains behind the operation. She may have pretty much been running it by herself previously. Needless to say, if she wanted to preserve any hope, no matter how slight, that she could continue her on with her livelihood, she needed to make a quick announcement that he was out.

Glad to see they're laser focused on affordability and inflation.

I'm thinking that the same result could have been achieved just by blocking the use of construction contractors in whom St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago or any of his spawn held a financial interest.
Could have, should have but….nope. Out in the open corruption

* it is a century old border dispute that could become a war

In any event, I’m not sure how much we can rely on the Thai PM since he dissolved parliament yesterday (this happens sort of regularly there) and called for snap elections b/c his minority coalition had become dysfunctional. And it doesn’t seem like Cambodia has much control over some of the militias along its border.

The Thai economy is in shambles (US tariffs have been rough there) so it is not clear if things will swing wildly in the Spring elections.

But hopefully things quiet down again on the border.

Not that this is a new thing or to gloss over the real issue but I always find it amusing when it’s clear Trump didn’t write something but they try and style it like Trump wrote it.

“More than 18,000 unionized Amtrak workers will each get a $900 bonus this holiday season, funded by managers who agreed to give up half of their bonus.

Some 246 Amtrak managers agreed to forgo around $16.2 million of their bonus packages this year, the Transportation Department said Friday. Amtrak’s board of directors voted to distribute the funds to unionized front-line workers.

The move is part of a larger effort by the Trump administration to rejigger Amtrak’s bonus program for executives and managers.

Amtrak’s board has also eliminated long-term incentive bonuses for management. The Transportation Department said it would restructure the bonuses.

The national rail operator, a quasi-government agency, provides passenger service between cities. It operates more than 300 trains a day, covering routes across 46 states and the District of Columbia.

Republicans have in recent years criticized Amtrak’s incentive pay as wasteful.…”

If there are white people coming here that feel like they need to get out of South Africa, I know I wouldn't want them in my neighborhood because they are evil or incompetent. Whites still have it best in South Africa.
