I wonder if/when we have another major war we’ll learn that Nimitz class and Gerald Ford class aircraft carriers are obsolete?

Will carriers and their task forces be overwhelmed by drones?

Same question for modern main battle tanks.

The Russia/Ukraine war should have fully delivered that message with regard to tanks.

Unless there is going to be a dramatic change in these ships’ armaments from the old ships this is a total waste of money and resources. The Missouri was used in the Persian Gulf War to launch cruise missiles from. A battleship can shoot a shell about 25 miles max. The Second World War proved the limits a battleship faces in a modern war. Battleships use to be how a navy measured its strength. Those days are long gone.

Yeah, there were some criticism but quite a bit of "blaming" Biden is because Hunter said his dad always told him that the responsibility was ultimately his.

You can understand how Republicans would miss this point.

Of course MAGA has to go through the four stages of MAGA response to information that the Trump admin is doing something unequivocally bad:

Stage 1 (after being informed of the Trump admin doing something unequivocally bad): Deny it.

Stage 2 (after being shown multiple credible reports of the Trump admin doing that unequivocally bad thing): Attack the sources and call it “fake news.”

Stage 3 (after being shown the Trump admin admitting to doing that unequivocally bad thing): Say that there’s nothing wrong with it.

Stage 4 (after being shown multiple examples of Trump/MAGA folks saying it’s bad when Democrats do it): Try to justify it in this instance.

If you had told me just a decade ago that within ten years we would be living in a nation where the Department of Justice would have people working on social media on Christmas Eve trolling critics of the sitting president and trying desperately to cover their own incompetent asses and JCD'ing a cult leader president I simply wouldn't have believed it.
