I've said this before, but the dude is simply cosplaying his role as FBI Director. I've read that he has no idea of what he is doing most of the time and that the professionals at the bureau regard him as a bad joke and a pain in the ass to work with. The only thing he takes seriously about his job is that he gets to look tough in public appearances and gets to wear those ridiculous black flak jackets with his name and FBI printed in big white letters across them, which he seems to think actually looks impressive. It wouldn't surprise me if when this nightmare finally ends that it comes out that he was using his office to try and impress women and get laid. If Miller, Noem, Hegseth, etc. are among the worst and most evil of Trump 2.0's minions, then Patel is surely among the most pathetic and ridiculous.
Between the clueless Patel, Hegseth, Gnome, Leavitt, Miller, Vance, Trump and Bondi, it really is the “cosplay administration.” There’s simply no one of actual merit leading this country. And it shows.

Don’t forget Gabbard, Kennedy, Burgum, Chavez-DeRemer, Bessent, McMahon, Zeldin, Rubio, Lutnick, Greer, Rarcliffe, and Vought. In all of the cabinet only Sean Duffy has stood out as someone who appears to be trying to do his job well.

Raises an interesting question. What grade would you give Trump's cabinet members, not relative to historical norms, where they would all get a F-, but to expectations when they were confirmed (C = as expected)? My quick take --

Bessent -- F---
Bondi -- F------------------
Burgum -- C
Chavez-DeRemer -- D
Collins -- B
Duffy -- B+
Gabbard -- D
Greer -- D
Hegseth -- D (only because he's somehow managed to limit American servicemember deaths so far, against all odds)
Kennedy -- F
Loeffler -- C
Lutnick -- F
McMahon -- C
Noem -- F------
Ratcliffe -- B
Rollins -- C
Rubio -- B
Turner -- ???
Vought -- F-
Wright -- C
Zeldin -- D

So if the grading metric is not based upon performance but rather based upon my expectations when they were confirmed I would give them all a C
Based upon actual performance then I would add Gabbard, Hegseth, and Zeldin to your F list

F to all. It was a group project.

We have major winds and snow here in Western Mass too, but Boston and Cape Cod are getting the worst of it.
Cousin in Brewster He likes to post-fun to watch his three plastic chairs in the yard during such storms
