Who was she calling a loser lawyer (who yelled at her)? It wasn't Nadler. Swalwell?
At least Goldman and Raskin. Goldman ran circles around her in the hearing and was/is 3x the lawyer Bondi ever was. As for Jamie Raskin:

Raskin graduated from Georgetown Day School in 1979 at age 16, and then magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in government with a concentration in political theory. In 1987, he received a Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.

Zero grand jury votes for indictments. Slapped down trying to punish Mark Kelly.

The opinion is pretty funny. Here are some excerpts:

"This Court has all it needs to conclude that Defendants have trampled on Senator Kelly's First Amendment freedoms and threatened the constitutional liberties of millions of military retirees. After all, as Bob Dylan famously said, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." To say the least, our retired veterans deserve more respect from their Government, and our Constitution demands they receive it! "

"Defendants respond that Senator Kelly is seeking to exempt himself from the rules of military justice that "Congress has expressly made applicable to retired servicemembers." Horsefeathers! "

"Defendants also argue that Senator Kelly has pied himself out of irreparable injury by asserting that he "intends to continue to speak on matters of public concern" and "willnot be silenced." Please! That is not the law. "

Leon was a W appointee, by the way. I'm going to make an exception to my distaste for memes and openly wish that instead of "Please!" he had used Yao Ming face.

He is apparently a pretty nice guy too. He was getting chemo at Georgetown one station over from my father in law. My wife and her father talked to him a good while.

Wasn’t he also a professor of Constitutional Law?

Senator Slotkin would be a great next president in 2028 as our first female POTUS !

I am not a big fan of the use of so many exclamation marks in Judge Leon's opinion. It distracts from the message. Otherwise, I think his analysis is very solid.

Yeah, the exclamation points are a bit much. I don't know if that's his normal style or if he was just having some fun.

The analysis is solid, in the same way that contending 1+1=2 is solid. DOJ never presented a serious argument, nor could they do so because the retaliation was obvious. I mean, they announced that it was retaliation. Even a currently serving service member would probably not be permissibly disciplined for it, but definitely not a retired service member.
