Reuters is one of only a few sources of real, factual, unadulterated news I trust. 71% want to remain whereas fewer than 20% want to leave. The other 9+% either didn't say or sit on the fence. So over 80% of Alberta does NOT agree with the separatists.

However, NONE of those <20% want to "join the U.S." but rather try to start up their "own" country.

The separatists can somehow magically get a referendum going, but they don't stand a snowballs chance in Mar a Lago in getting it ratified.

This is all sound and fury signifying nothing. Greenland has a better chance of joining the U.S.

But it is not just sound and fury. It is part of a Putin-esch scheme to sow discord. The Heritage Foundation puppetmasters want pretext for economic and maybe military warfare against Canada. They are helping a fringe group elevate their ego plight in order to fabricate an “oppressed” group.

Oh yeah. Just look at all of those Trumper farmers in his first and second terms who, when they suffered heavy financial losses thanks to his stupid trade wars in both terms, gladly lined up at the public trough to get their socialist taxpayer-funded bailouts from Dear Leader's administration. What conservatives are really opposed to is giving the same benefits to groups and people they don't like, such as minorities or college kids. When they're the ones on the take they're as socialist as they come.
