I wonder what percentage of Woodstock attendees are Trumplican today? 50%? 60%. More?

The crowd is lily white and mostly male. In their 70’s and 80’s today.

My dad was too young for Woodstock but did follow the Dead for a while in the early 80s. Went on to work for big tobacco and is a die hard Republican.

It makes sense young folks have a negative view of baby killing Israel
I-an old-have a lifelong thing that supporting Israel was somehow noble. But younger folks have not lived long enough to remember when Israel was viewed as some sort of underdog utopia-that the world "owed them" after WWII

Similar story with the US. What we did in WWII was incredible. We brought unprecedented stability to the world for a couple of generations. But the memory of our antifascist victory fades over time. And that’s how we end up with JD Vance and Pete Hegseth.

Trump just said half a dozen times in a press conference that the U.S. has plenty of oil, especially with the oil we are taking from Venezuela…

We obviously are NOT self sufficient in oil

I can’t help but notice the waters off of Palm Beach, FL look ripe for drilling. That, or perhaps some windmills. Very good wind in that area.
