This opinion is wild. I'm no expert on federal government standing but it seems quite obviously wrong to me.

It tells me that the courts have completely lost patience with DOJ bullshit. They are going to make this administration cross/dot Is and ts when other administrations maybe could slide just a bit.

I still think part of his firing of Kristi Noem is that Trump was mad at Noem for choosing Lewandowski over him. Dear Leader's underlings aren't supposed to shag the ladies in Trump's orbit right under his nose, even if he doesn't make a move on them himself. It's a pure ego thing. No doubt Trump not getting a cut of their grift was part of their undoing as well, and her awful performance before the congressional committee was probably the final straw, as Trump hates for his minions to look bad in public, especially on television. At any rate it will be interesting to see if MAGA's favorite adulterous couple will stick together now that they have both lost their power and all of the perks that go with it.
