I always assume personal grudge until a better reason surfaces.

I think it is more of a wide net being cast rather than targeting specific companies. Some fall victim more easily than others.

From an employee's experiences with them, I wouldn't doubt it. The one he dealt with seemed on the horns of the dilemma of whether they were a scam or scum. He was always being forced to pay hidden and extra charges. In fairness, he was neither the best nor brightest and caused a lot of his own problems other than just that one. I don't totally trust my information but have heard others say similar things.
