If Texas would just go ahead and secede we would all be much better off, imo. Just call it the "Free Republic of Texas", tack Oklahoma to it, and let it become the welcoming new home nation for MAGAs and right-wing and Christian Nationalist pols and advocates. And the rest of us can get on with the business of electing a sane progressive government that will start fixing all of the national problems that desperately need fixing instead of demonizing transgenders and experts and city folk and minorities.

Of all the stupid Trump branding, this is one that is the least objectionable. Dollars have a relatively short circulation life and if the Treasury secretary can sign the bills, so can the president.

If we give him this, can we get the Kennedy center back?
 
He might as well just go ahead and build a giant statue to himself that's taller than the Washington Monument. If he thought he could get away with it he'd do it in a heartbeat, and his adoring MAGA cult would find some excuse to support it, especially because it would royally piss off the libs. We're living in insane times, folks. The great American experiment, for the first time since the Civil War, has just run off the track and is hurtling into unknown, very dangerous territory. And there's nobody driving this train, including Trump himself.

I suspect it was the US testing our own drones.
