LOL. That last sentence from Vance should be applied to the USA right now, not Denmark. We're the ones who are doing something extremely dumb, not Denmark or the EU. We're destroying our own system of international alliances in a massive land grab, or steal. It's that simple. Greenland is not under any imminent threat of invasion, and the USA has always been willing since WW2 to help defend Greenland if it was attacked, as would Canada most likely. It's a total bullshit excuse, but given Jesse Watters shit-eating grin I'm sure that his viewers and Fox News fans will eat it up.

I suspect that destruction leads to further protests and violence which then provide the regime with justification for canceling or restricting the vote.

This needs to be viewed in the larger context. He's not absconding with these funds for purely personal reasons (to buy more stuff). He's stealing this money to buy SUPPORT.

I think it will find its way into his bank account. I don't think this money is needed at all to buy support. It will go to people who are already sucking plenty at the trough.
 
TERM LIMITS PLEASE

Imagine how much more reasonable the GOP folks would be if they knew congress wasnt a career but a short-term stop to do some public good?

Term limits won't do anything but further empower dark money/PACs/billionaires/think tanks/political strategists.

If you limit how long someone can stay in a role, then the background players who don't have term limits only become even more important and the elected office holders become nothing more than puppets to those other, more permanent, players.
 
It is time to remind everyone that there is no such thing as vice-presidential immunity, and the next administration should not allow the Supreme Court to have any input. They can "lose track" of JD in the system.

Vance is also the only person in the executive branch Trump can't fire; you would think he would look at the polling and the last elections and start putting some distance between him and the orange human boil knowing that Trump can't dispose of him.
