I've been trying to catch up on classics I missed along the way and I'm about 80% done with The Caine Mutiny. Definitely worth the read, btw. If Trump were the captain of a Navy ship, there is no doubt whatsoever that every one of his officers would have a duty to relieve him under Section 184 of the Navy Regulations. His insanity is becoming clearer and clearer by the moment, and he's about to sink the whole ship.

It's interesting, albeit not surprising, that the great American novelists of the 1950s and 1960s were very clearheaded about the threats posed to our democracy by a narcissistic would-be tyrant like Trump. Maybe if the Pubs hadn't spent decades gutting public education, we wouldn't have 40% of the country slobbering all over President Queeg.

I think that's in the secret code book non Christians don't get with the Gospels. They have a whole different story than the public one you find in clear type.
 


Could just be failing infrastructure, but would be interesting if Chinese nationals were being targeted in Afghanistan.
