For politics only, readtangle.com is a really nice non-partisan newsletter. I go read the daily posts M-Thur without subscribing, which means i miss out on their Friday coverage and their 1-per-weekend (not sure if it is Sat or Sunday) newletter.
 
Heading out to the All Star game tonight. I'm smiling thinking about how the game is being re played in ATL after being unceremoniously stripped away from us by MLB in 2021 after being pressured by Stacy Abrams, Biden, and the wokie corporations. MLB is essentially admitting it was wrong and went too far in its earlier decision to virtue signal to the left and conceding that Georgia's voter reform bill was not "Jim Crow 2.0" as defined by Abrams and Biden (minority participation INCREASED after the law was passed). MLB's boneheaded decision denied Hank Aaron the opportunity to be celebrated in his home town in front of his fans rather than being shipped off to Denver. Now, all MLB can do is put a 44 patch on the uniforms.

In retrospect, MLB's actions may have been a "jump the shark" moment for the woke movement.

I actually completely agree with the notion of the ridiculousness of corporate virtue signaling and how dumb it was for MLB to move the All-Star game in 2021, but Good Lord Almighty have mercy, man, is there nothing about which you don’t feel victimized by JOE BIDEN AND THE WOKIES? (Sweet band name, tbh)

Or they just got rewarded for building a new stadium out in the middle of nowhere like always happens. You had to leave at 4 to get there by 8

 


Check in with your elderly relatives to see if they need help navigating this change. It seems reasonable and straightforward to most of us but can be daunting to some of our elderly citizens.

It’s just outside the Perimeter - hardly the middle of nowhere. Plus the money making Battery is the new model for stadium development
