There was once a time where it was universally understood that Nazis were bad and any association with them was bad. Now we have mainstream politicians cozying up to Nazi apologists."The current 47-point gap between Republicans and Democrats is the largest since Gallup first began tracking this measure 29 years ago."

I can't see any reason why that would be beyond a legislative power. It is definitely within the executive's power but that wouldn't be permanent. It seems perfectly logical to me that, in doing so, you'd bar any former ICE employees (or those employed during certain dates) from being hired within the "New ICE" organization that would be constructed. Is that legal? If so, could you also legally bar those former ICE employees from being employed in any type of law enforcement role?

The #1 campaign issue for Dems at the national level should be immediate termination of all employees of ICE and abolition of the Dept of Homeland Security. It's pretty obvious that ICE is a completely corrupt and white nationalist organization under Trump. If we manage to survive this period in our nation, it's also pretty obvious that ICE will have to be completely shut down and a new government agency created to handle the immigration and customs enforcement.
