The unnamed gunman entered the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol building near McAllen International Airport early Monday morning.

CNN is reporting the shooters name as Ryan Luis. Fox, MSNBC, and all other local outlets I've seen, are reporting his name as Ryan Louis Mosqueda. :unsure:

I’m from a KS farming family so I read this article first thing this morning.

The history was interesting but what stood out was the guy that said changing who you vote for is like changing your religion. This is why I just don’t give a fuck that they’re hurting from these policies. It’s on them. I know many rural people that are terrible racist assholes and are perfect candidates for FAFO. These surprising thing about this is they’ll be asking for (more) government handouts

In the rural county I grew up in over a quarter of the population is on Medicaid (not Medicare, Medicaid) and over 12,000 people use SNAP. Yet some 80% of the county's voters supported Trump in the last 3 elections, and they vote overwhelmingly for people like Virginia Foxx & Ted Budd. And they do practically worship Trump, there are Trump flags flying everywhere constantly, not just in presidential campaigns. As they say, elections have consequences, and a good many people over the next three or four years are going to learn the truth of that phrase.

The shocking thing to me is that Musk didn't see it coming. None of Trump's appointees and minions who fail to show him absolute fealty ever survive. Elon was doomed as soon as his usefulness ran out.
