Really? So what are the alternatives?

We do away with Medicaid, then what? Hospitals close, people lose jobs, people die.

No, we are not headed to economic ruin because of medicaid, there are many other factors. One being tax cuts when we are not finding our government. Then there's overspending on military. Then people want to talk about efficiency, look at the cost increases of things like privatizing our jails.

To attempt to blame this all on Medicare is asinine.

So, let's just take your approach and do away with medicaid, for sake of argument, we'll also do away with SS. How does that impact society?

Maybe if the government took in enough that it didn't have a deficit? There's s concept, but then you would whine about paying taxes. Just admit you are a selfish piece of shit that only worries about how it might impact you personally. Same with your recent lies, you didn't care about facts, you were simply mad that a person using an EBT card wasn't forced to dress poor enough and want forced to walk to the store while chanting Shame, Shame, Shame..... all so you can pay less taxes and brag about your Lexus.

I'm not blaming Medicaid alone. All of the government handouts contribute to the economic ruin.

The fix is a comprehensive transformation of the government, but increasing handouts is not going to help and is not a "good" thing.

So, again I ask, what is your solution and how will it impact the economy?

I believe people such as yourself, and other rich magas, would just assume to do away with all forms of social support and let the people suffer, but I also believe that leads ultimately to outcomes that you don't want either. So, what is your solution?

Just to be clear, the national debt WILL eventually become unmanageable but we can't do anything about it because making changes to be fiscally responsible, like increasing taxes and decreasing spending, won't work because Wikipedia has something called "Paradox of Thrift"?

Makes perfect sense to me. :rolleyes:
