Yep, he pulled no punches in his resignation letter. This also follows David Wentworth’s departure from CDC last month- he was the respiratory disease (COVID/flu) director and played a key role in collaborations with WHO and selecting the antigens to be included in each year’s vaccines.

This is why I've previously stated my belief that any resistance movements will ultimately occur via burners, vpns, face to face, and encrypted communication.

This will become a repressive police state the moment musk, vought, miller, don, vance, patel, etc. decide to defy courts, which is likely to occur when they 1. think public support remains relatively high or 2. when public support absolutely tanks. Right now, they're in a liminal space.

Once they defy the courts a little, it's no large leap to outright sidelining the courts. I've stated previously that I think we'll see public and high profile violence against groups of Americans by the end of the summer, ~September. I suspect warm weather factors into their authoritarian plan. I see absolutely nothing to dissuade me of prior concerns, given the dozens of trial balloons they're floating, and pretext they've been laying for years with P2025.
Step 2 will be a foreign war to distract the public and flog patriotism.

Trump has been the most anti-war president we have had in awhile. His foreign policy is we are rich. We aren’t going to fight anyone. There’s a lot of bad things to say about him but getting into foreign wars isn’t one of them.

Panama is closer and won't have a NATO response. Also it's brown people so that will give Stephen Miller an erection.
Speaking of Stephen Miller getting an erection over Panama, I just realized Sesson 3 of Prison Break came out the year after he graduated from Duke, while he was working as a speechwriter for Michelle Bachman. That could explain a lot of what’s happening in El Salvador now.

I agree that Trump is war averse. However, he's a bully. He won't mess with Russia or China. Too strong. He'll just divvy up the world with those two. Instead, he'll pick on a little guy like Iran, who he thinks he can easily beat without it interfering in his grifting.

What exactly is the basis for this statement? What he said during the campaign -- the same campaign that was based almost entirely on lies?

Let's go through this: the last US president to start a war was W. Obama, Trump 1, and Biden did not start any wars. Obama got us out of Iraq. Trump basically made no effort to withdraw from Afghanistan until he capitulated to the Taliban in 2020. So this business about not starting wars -- it's ludicrous. One term without starting a war is the norm, not the exception.

And it's not as if he shied away from military solutions in his first term. He ripped up the peace deal with Iran, and then proceeded to assassinate a high-level Iranian official (I think it was an Iranian). That could have provoked a conflagration. It's certainly not something a peace-loving president would do. I don't care about it much either way, but it's hardly pacifism.

And now, in his fifth year, he is talking about starting military conflicts with absolutely no provocation. That hasn't happened in US history since . . . well, maybe Grenada? I guess it depends on how much knowledge about the bogus story about the USS Maine you would like to attribute to the administration at the time. But I can't remember a US president talking about using military force to take territory. Yes, he hasn't done that yet, but he's talking about it and nobody else ever has -- well, at least not since the campaigns against Native Americans ended. And merely talking about invading is destabilizing.

So by my reckoning, he's the second-most militaristic, war-loving president of my lifetime. Behind only W.

Do you have any facts to counter that? I'm not interested in hearing what the MAGA liars and flip-floppers ***say***. Their words mean nothing.

I believe Trump has been quoted as asking a previous foreign policy advisor, "why do we have nukes if we can't use them?"

I’m not sure what this even means. Axios is reporting this is a consideration.
A consideration for whom?

You think the GOP Congress is going to agree to raise taxes on the rich? Seriously? The Senate is going through pretzel logic and twister-level contortions to pretend that extending the tax cuts shouldn't count toward the deficit. And they are going to throw all that away for no taxes on tips?

Here's a tip sheet for how to predict the Trump administration: do not listen to what they say. They almost never do what they say they are going to do, what they say they are currently doing, or what they say they will do.

No way, how can this be???

A known anti-vaxer who had half his brain eaten by a worm and believes that Autism is caused by vaccinees when there are absolutely no creditable studies to support such bullshit would lie about vaccines? What is the world coming to?
