How did an obscure back-bench idiot like MTG become a national figure? This is how. For that matter, how did an also-ran real estate developer become president? This is how. Political leaders now need celebrity, and to get celebrity, they need attention, and to get attention -- well, we know.
Jasmine Crockett has a bright future. I wouldn't want her on the presidential ticket for a number of reasons, but she should make waves in Texas politics and for all I know, this is de rigeur for Texas politics.
