Weird story — VP of The Kennedy Center hired by Trump after his take-over now says he was fired by Rick Grenell b/c Grenell, who is gay, demanded this VP renounce his religious opposition to gay marriage(?)

Who knows what really happened, but that is this guy’s claim (he blames CNN for pressuring Grenell with an unpublished story about the former VP’s prior social media posts opposing gay marriage)…

Sorry, it was an attempted joke. I know very well that your job does not involve staring at the walls in your office. Your job is stressful, if it's anything like the transactional practices I've seen. I guess I figured you'd know that I know but the joke might have come off poorly. I've been trying to use more humor to improve my mood, to meh results. I mean, I think I can be decently funny. But only decently. Some jokey comments don't land.
