Just look at all of the 1/6 insurrectionists who acted so tough and macho that day but who, when they were arrested and tried, cried like babies in the courtroom or to the cops or to the media and begged for leniency and complained about how "unfairly" they were being treated and what "victims" they were. As long as they have the power then they love being bullies and acting tough, but the moment things turn against them they fold like cheap tents and see themselves as the victims and whine about how mean everybody is to them.

Perhaps so, but I'd be willing to bet that Trump had nothing to do with making it either constructive or adult. Everyone else at the meeting probably gave him his cellphone and told him to play on Twitter and Truth Social while they discussed the problem.
No chance. Trump has to be the center of attention. They probably spent 90% of the session answering various versions of “Why don’t we just turn that entire shithole country into glass?” and “Do they have any coastline we could turn into a new Trump resort?”

There are pictures of him virtually dozing at some of his earlier cabinet meetings when Elon was talking. He has to get all the attention as long as he's in public, but in private, with no cameras or audience around, I could easily see him foisting the grunt work and boring planning sessions off to somebody else as long as he gets to make the final decision and is the guy who gets to announce everything and get all the glory and publicity, as long as it goes well. If it doesn't then he'll just deny everything and fire the people that screwed up.
