What you are describing isn’t what the Fox News person is saying.
She is saying Trump killed the economy so save money by not buying presents.
I didn't hear anything about Trump or the economy in the video. I think that's what the editor of the video intended to imply, but the video itself says nothing about that.

Money saving tips are common during the holidays.

The federal government on Saturday dismissed charges against a Utah plastic surgeon accused of throwing away Covid-19 vaccines, giving children saline shots instead of the vaccine and selling faked vaccination cards.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on the social media platform X that charges against Dr. Michael Kirk Moore, of Midvale, Utah, were dismissed at her direction.

Moore and other defendants faced up to 35 years in prison after being charged with conspiracy to defraud the government; conspiracy to convert, sell, convey and dispose of government property; and aiding and abetting in those efforts. The charges were brought when Joe Biden was president.

"Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so," Bondi wrote. "He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today."

Felice John Viti, acting U.S. attorney for Utah, filed the motion Saturday, saying "such dismissal is in the interests of justice."

The trial began Monday in Salt Lake City with jury selection. It was expected to last 15 days.
Messages sent to the U.S. Department of Justice, Viti's office in Salt Lake City and to Moore were not immediately returned Saturday.

A federal grand jury on Jan. 11, 2023, returned an indictment against Moore, his Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah Inc., others associated with the clinic and a neighbor of Moore's. The indictment alleged more than $28,000 of government-provided Covid-19 vaccine doses were destroyed.

They were also accused of providing fraudulently completed vaccination record cards for over 1,900 doses of the vaccine in exchange for either a cash or a donation to a specified charitable organization.

The government also alleged some children were given saline shots, at their parents' request, so the minors believed they were getting the vaccine.

Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., a leading anti-vaccine activist before becoming the nation's top health official, posted his support for Moore in April, saying on X that Moore "deserves a medal for his courage and his commitment to healing

So no chance of state charges in Utah, I'm guessing? She's gonna walk away scott free?

We had a relatively boring 4 years and people were like, nope, let's get crazy again!

Americans are rather dumb.
Just a minor quibble. Biden was boring. The 117th and 118th Congresses were pretty boring. But the craziness barely stopped from January 2021 to January 2025, and it was all because of Donald John Trump. The first several months of Biden's term were dominated by the fallout from the insurrection Trump fomented on January 6. The House Select Committee released the findings of its investigation in July 2022. The feds then raided Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 to retrieve highly classified materials Trump had taken and refused to return. Then Trump declared his candidacy SUPER early, on November 15, 2022, largely to complicate the optics of the imminent criminal charges that he knew were coming, and it was nonstop chaos and idiocy from that point forward.

I firmly believe this is a big part of why our country is so angry and divided right now. The last time Donald Trump was not orchestrating chaos and division on a national scale was June 15, 2015, the day before he came down his golden escalator to declare Mexicans criminals, drug dealers and rapists. For more than ten years now, the worst human being America has ever created has dominated our civic dialogue. Every. Single. Day. And we have many more of those grotesque days to come.

All of this to say, your last sentence is not just correct, but understated. The Americans who voted for Trump last November were not just "rather dumb." They were cataclysmically, inexplicably, deplorably dumb. They made one of the worst mistakes in the history of this great nation. And now we're all paying for it. Even them.

A mistake that has changed the course of America. This nation will never be the same. Not even if "lard-ass" should fall out of Air Force One today. I like that possibility :)

Horses, trumpets and fighter jets make for an elaborate White House welcome for Saudi crown prince

From CNN's Kevin Liptak

A line of mounted dark horses escorted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s limo up the White House driveway, kicking off an elaborate diplomatic display that is essentially a state visit in everything but name.

Military bands trumpeted the prince’s arrival, and a flyover of fighter jets — including F-35s, the same kind Donald Trump says he’ll sell to Riyadh — buzzed overhead as the US president welcomed the Saudi leader to the South Lawn.

Delegations from both countries lined an orange carpet, and an honor guard stood at attention as Prince bin Salman emerged from his Mercedes to greet Trump. They shook hands, and Trump grasped the prince’s shoulder, before they smiled for a photo-op.

The trumpets blared, the honor guard saluted, and the two men walked into the South Portico.

Tuesday’s visit isn’t classified as a state visit, but only because the crown prince isn’t Saudi Arabia’s head of state — his father, 89-year-old King Salman, is.

But in pulling out all the diplomatic stops, Trump is signaling the importance of Saudi Arabia to American interests, and his respect for the prince.

What $2,000 payment (Hassett implied this weekend that this “payment” is the value of the OBBB tax breaks on tips and overtime)???

45-50% of adults are middle class, 30-35% are working class or poor. There are about 265 million adults. Is he really saying he is going to make an out $400 Billion in cash payments from tariff income to about 200 million of them? At last report the Treasury had collected a little less than $200 Billion in tariffs so far this year.

The math don’t math. And even if it did, these are exactly the sorts of cash payments during COViD that Republicans blamed for the inflation spike (even though inflation happened worldwide, but whatever).

Trump's $2,000 tariff checks would cost $450 billion, analysis finds

“… By the numbers: The Yale Budget Lab released an analysis Monday night, finding that the promised checks would cost about $450 billion, assuming that the $2,000 checks went to every individual in the country with an income under $100,000.

  • The government collected $195 billion in tariff revenue in fiscal 2025 and is on pace for about $420 billion in tariff revenue in fiscal 2026.
Between the lines: Yale estimated a 0.3 percentage point boost to GDP in 2026 from the checks, and a 0.15 percentage point increase in employment.…”

Hey Yale Budget Lab, what took you so long?

😉

There is a non-zero risk here that the Saudis will share classified details of this tech with our enemies …

WTAF? Things happen? Like getting murdered and dismembered by Saudi goons? Things like that???

Trump is doing us all a big favor by taking questions because he and the future king are only doing so out of the goodness of their hearts. They don’t have to do it.
