“…Instead, the Coast Guard will classify the Nazi-era insignia as 'potentially divisive' under its new guidelines."

Downgrading a swastika to “potentially divisive”??

I wonder what the Republican Jews think about this? Will they still just blindly yank the lever for MAGA next election just because Trump says Rs do more for Jews than anyone else on the planet?

I assumme the Repubican Jews vote orangeturd for just one reason And I bet there are not many of them

Interesting. I know people who seek out the NPs because they appear to care and listen more.
My younger daughter is a Doctor of Nursing Practice ( DNP ) which is a step up but essentially she is an NP. I often use her as my 2nd opinion for any MD recommendations. More often than not I take her advice over the MD

My orthopedist was an NP
My dermatologist is an NP
My spinal stenosis provider is an NP

I would not trade my NPs for an MD when it comes to routine health care.

My wife is a mid level healthcare provider (Physician Assistant) and is an absolute rockstar – knowledgeable, kind, strong attention to detail, and cares deeply about patient outcomes. Her patients absolutely love her. Some have moved over the years but still travel significant distances to see her.

And I know several more mid levels who provide great medical care to their patients. We need many more of these professionals to meet growing healthcare demands so of course this loathsome administration is steering things in the opposite direction.

Johnathan Greenblatt and the ADL are too concerned about Zohran Mamdani to worry about this.

It would be for nursing graduate degrees. I'm assuming that's the kind of degree one gets to be something like a Nurse Practitioner, not a typical staff nurse.

My hunch is that someone figured out a lot of MAGA don't like having to see a NP rather than a "real doctor" and this is a way of striking out at that.
So they are discouraging education again. Also, you need a graduate degree to teach nursing. Oh, and who are a lot of the people who see NPs? Low income people who go to the health department.

My general observation is that there's very much a generational divide. Boomers and older Gen Xers largely don't like the NPs, while younger Gen Xers and younger generations very much like them.

My personal experience, albeit limited, is that they're great. (I actually know more NPs as friends than I've seen NPs for medical reasons.)

As an aside, my mom saw an NP last winter at the local "minute clinic" for a chest cold to get some meds and it took me forever to explain to her why a nurse could prescribe medication.
Boomers and older gen Xers get extremely attached to their MD and are by far the most annoying patients

I am a Boomer that is basically in love with my Primary Care Physician.. When I go a quick clinic, or an annual Dermatology check up I am very grateful to see an NP

I agree 1000%

Give me a PA or an NP any day of the week over a MD when it comes to hands on health care😂

Of those degrees, all but architecture and accounting skew significantly towards women.
Yeah, but I'd question how much straight misogyny plays a role in this versus the strong correlation between the "helping fields" (nursing, teaching, social services) and gender employment.

I'm amazed at how much MAGA seems to really, really hate folks who need assistance, in nearly any form, getting the help they need to have a better life.

I agree completely. Based on what I have witnessed during my life, the path to personal financial wealth in the ministry is absolutely NOT positively corelated with how much the Master of Divinity degree cost.
Does one need a Master of Divinity degree to create a megachurch?
