There’s a social media clip from about 75 yards out - Kirk appears to take it square in the chest from 100+ yards out and crumples. The people filming immediately look behind them, hence the assumption of distance.

It’s a very disturbing clip.

“… "We're in a second space race right now," Nasa's acting administrator Sean Duffy told reporters in a press conference on Wednesday where he spoke about US discoveries on Mars.

"The Chinese want to get back to the moon before us. That's not going to happen."

The director of the general technology bureau of China's Manned Space Agency last year said US concerns were "unnecessary", calling China's space exploration a "collective mission for humanity".

At a US Senate hearing last week, lawmakers stressed the need for the US to put its boots on the moon before China.

""China has made no secret of its goals," said Republican senator Ted Cruz. "[If] our adversaries achieve dominant space capabilities, it would pose a profound risk to America... [the] stakes could not be higher."

The race is not just about getting to the Moon. It's also about who can control its resources once they are there.…”

I've read that if Russia ever wins its war with Ukraine that the three Baltic States would be next on Putin's radar for a "re-assimilation" back into Mother Russia, as Putin seeks to rebuild the old Soviet Empire. Which in itself is a good reason to help keep arming the Ukrainians and doing what we can (short of sending troops, of course) to help them win the war. Stop Putin's expansion plans in Ukraine and it's unlikely they'll attack anywhere else.

Balkans would provoke a NATO response. The only real question left is would Trump sit things out or even attack the rest of NAtO?

I don’t think he would be able to get the US Military to align with Russia to attack NATO Allies, even after the Pentagon purge, but I could certainly see him sitting it out.

So she's a micromanager, would would have thought...
Hahaha, no. She and Corey Lewandowski created the bottleneck and by several reports she is not interested in administrative details and he is the one acting as de facto chief of staff, including managing the bottleneck created by this policy. It also delayed some FEMA responses to the July 4 flooding in Texas.

People living on the Canadian land he covets are less trusting.
