On a related note, the ancient people believed in giants because they dug up bones (especially pygmy mammoth ones in Europe) and had to make sense of them. In situ they are anatomically very similar to a very large human being.

I agree. If I had never seen an elephant and I dug up some bones that looked like the one's in the x-ray below, my first thought would be "WOW! Giant!", not "Wow, I have discovered a new species of animal that had a fetish for wearing high heels."1754757444424.jpeg

Police say White opened fire at the campus from across the street, leaving gaping bullet holes in windows and littering the sidewalk outside a CVS pharmacy with bullet casings. The attack prompted a massive law enforcement response to one of the nation’s most prominent public health institutions.

A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that the shooter had been turned away by guards when he tried to gain access to the campus, and then drove to a spot near the pharmacy and starting firing. He was armed with a long gun and authorities recovered at least three other firearms at the scene, said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation.

The suspect’s father reached out to authorities and identified his son as the possible shooter, the law enforcement official said. The father told authorities that his son had been upset over the death of his dog and seemed depressed because of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"So if Democrats dare to respond to our attempts to brazenly rig the 2026 Congressional elections, we'll just take some of Canada's provinces that we think will vote Republican and rig the system even more to our favor! Take that LibDems!" I've written before that whenever Fox finally fires one of their 8 PM primetime talking heads they manage to find someone even worse to replace them, and it's clear that with Watters Fox is plumbing new depths of awfulness. O'Reilly was bad enough, but the de-evolution from O'Reilly to Carlson to Watters is sharp. At this rate the next Fox flunky after Watters inevitably gets the ax will probably be Laura Loomer or Mike Lindell.

i dont put it past the GQP to claim they own Canadian provinces and simply appoint gqpers as senators. Nothing is below these people. Nothing.
