I grew up watching a ton of PBS programming and listening to NPR (always loved listening to their rebroadcast of War of the Worlds on Halloween). Appreciate all the work the CPB did. I guess each PBS and NPR station is on its own going forward. Sink or swim.

I'll second that, especially in light of my efforts to give Trump credit where it's due.

Now, my assumption for decades has been that we already have subs stationed around the globe in places where they can respond immediately, and dispositively, to any major actions by our major geopolitical foes. But if Trump has to do a virtual jerk off to celebrate his decision to move a sub from the Sea of Japan to the Sea of Okhotsk, that's fine with me.
