Why is that significant? Denmark controls Greenland.
I'm not sure about that. The only real difference was that overt authoritarianism wasn't needed to enforce much the same policies currently being pushed on us. They, however, had considerably less knowledge of the world, history and advances in technology. Yeah, but now he's in a cult. And I probably should have said great grandparents. WWII vets (the few that are still with us) are the ones who are immune to the MAGA bullshit. They've seen it.

Once we get to the other side of this, as a society we are going to have to inflict punishments on these people that a pardon cannot undo.
