And so comes another Monday, I wonder what the timeline has in store for this week?

It would be nice if most voters valued things like experience, expertise, a record of political success, dignity, decency, etc. when it comes to electing people to office. But no, we have reached the stage of idiocracy in which all of those qualities are actually viewed with suspicion and disdain. Instead, all you really need to run for high public office is that you're a celebrity that everyone recognizes, you enjoy insulting people on social media, you hate the same groups and individuals as most of the voters, and you will clearly be incompetent and destructive in the post you're elected or appointed to. Our politics and government have become a low class, white trash reality tv show. "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!"

“... the real people say it like that”?

Is this like the time he went to Nevada and butchered the pronunciation of Nevada to Nevadans?

Everything the Dems warned people about Trump has ended up being true. People that voted for him are either too dumb to realize it or they're horrible people who don't care.

Don’t know if this is the correct thread for this topic, but here goes. Has anyone seen the ad Samuel L. Jackson has done for a Swedish energy company named Vattenfall? It pokes fun at trump’s dislike of wind energy. It’s hilarious. I don’t know how to post it, but it would be great if someone did. You would all (except probably our trumpers) get a good laugh out of it.
