No surprise, as polls have shown Labour is very unpopular right now. What's ironic is that Nigel Farage was one of the earliest leading proponents of Brexit, which is precisely what is causing so much economic misery in the UK right now. In effect British voters would be elevating the very people who have caused most of their current economic woes back into power so they can cause even more damage. But, hey, they're opposed to brown-skinned immigrants and obviously UK voters have about the same attention span as ours, so why not return them to power to screw things up even more? It's a story that we've become all too familiar with here.

Whether it’s the coal fields of Wales or West Virginia or Wyoming or the mill towns/cities of the American Midwest or South or Britain’s Midlands or the longshoreman jobs in Liverpool or London or Baltimore or New York, those unskilled jobs that paid relatively well in much of the 20th century aren’t coming back.

At least the phenomenon of electing the morons who caused the problem is not isolated to America.

We are apparently moving a carrier from the Mediterranean to the Coast off Venezuela
This will be the "international conflict" that the Rs will attempt to bypass the 2028 election with to keep Trump in office. It's either this, or a fake brouhaha with Putin and Russia—which we all know that Putin would wholeheartedly help to stage. It's happening, folks. Get ready for it.

What a week! America has definitely been made great again over the last seven days. This brilliant administration has, without limitation:

1. Torn down 1/3 of the White House without letting anyone know in advance;
2. Kept the government shut down over an issue that almost 3/4 of Americans think should be resolved as the Democrats have proposed;
3. Accepted $130 million from an unknown source, potentially a foreign adversary, that will be used to pay our military;
4. Committed multiple war crimes by using US military assets to blow foreign nationals out of the water without anything resembling due process;
5. Deployed a huge percentage of our Navy to the oceans around Venezuela, which may be one of the least threatening places anywhere in the world;
6. Attempted to force Ukraine to give up the entire Donbas in exchange for ... nothing? ... while Russia refuses to make any commitments whatsoever;
7. Charged Letitia James for doing something that she did not do, but that at least two members of Trump's Cabinet did do;
8. Cut off trade negotiations with our largest trading partner and formerly friendly neighbor because they made an ad with an accurate video of Reagan calling Trump's economic policy spectacularly stupid;
9. Pardoned a guy who ADMITTED to using his crypto platform, which has raised Trump's personal wealth by billions of dollars, to facilitate massive amounts of money laundering; and
10. Yet again, not released the Epstein files.

Congrats, Ram! Congrats Zen! Congrats Pandemic! This has probably been Trump's best week yet!
